About the summit

A signature thought fest that puts India first, ‘What India Thinks Today Summit 2026 returns stronger to unveil its fourth edition. Captioned under the theme “India & The World,” the proposition dispassionately explores the existing and emerging headwinds and tailwinds for the India growth story. It aims to draw a blueprint for the developed India with an assembly of top thinkers, business leaders, and civil society champions.

‘What India Thinks Today Summit’ has been a strong votary of a seat for India on the global head table. In its last edition, the Summit pursued the theme, “India in the New World Order,” which explored how the country is positioning itself in a rapidly changing global landscape. This year, the focus shifts to a larger question: what kind of nation will India become by 2047, when it marks a century of independence? The last edition witnessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, articulate his vision for a new India driven by his mantra for inclusive growth.

Scheduled for 23-24 March 2026 in the nation's capital, the Summit captures India at a moment of economic ambition, political churn, technological change, and social reflection. 2026 is a moment of reckoning for India and the world at large. India is widely being seen as a calming force committed to universal good.

The conversations in this edition will look at how economic growth, political leadership, cultural influence, and technological innovation could shape India in the short, medium and long run. The world is eyeing India for a growth model that can be easily replicated.

Bringing together voices from policy, politics, business, culture, sport, cinema, technology, sustainability and spirituality, What India Thinks Today aims to reflect the many ideas, debates, and aspirations that define India today as it looks ahead to the ultimate journey toward 2047.
